Yamuna 101 Series - Purely Pelvis

Saturday 21st November 2020

Live Online via Zoom

10 - 11.30pm £15

The pelvis functions as a major foundation for the spine, torso, legs and feet. It is a two sided structure where both sides come together at the sacrum on the back and public bone at the front. Because we don’t use our sides evenly it can never really be balanced.

These differences are the causes of pain and often chronic hip problems. By identifying imbalances in the pelvis and noticing the effect these are having on the rest of the body, such as the feet we can start to build a strong pelvic foundation that will support us throughout life. By exploring the bones taking the most impact when we are standing, walking or running we can also work to improve alignment and bone quality in the pelvis.

I am making all these sessions as accessible as possible in terms of the balls we will be using. For this workshop BLACK BALLS and a Pearl or Gold are the balls of choice. If you need to buy black balls or a gold or pearl ball please head to the link to the Yamuna Shop. I highly recommend having your own balls and if you don’t yet have a pair of black balls these are especially useful for all the routines. You can purchase them from me or request to loan a pair before the workshop if you are an existing student with me. Balls are available locally to Winchester for collection or delivery.

Your zoom link will be sent after registration and the day before the workshop. A link to the recording will be sent out afterwards too so you can maintain your own self care practice at home.
