This focused workshop ’solely’ focuses on the Feet and the use of the Sole Heelers. I would like to go through as many of the routines as we can cover in 1.5 hours. This is my favourite piece of the Yamuna work to do and to teach. It’s instantly effective and seems to create pathways of change throughout the entire body … even relieving neck tension, but more often noted, knees, pelvis and lower back relief. Sole Heelers allow us to connect the feet to the legs, lifting and aligning the ankles and knees up to the hip joint.
"Our feet and legs are the pillars to our torso, our very foundation and are what supports our daily movements. Rolling through the legs increases flexibility and generates greater ease of movement, not just in the legs but through the entire spine. Yamuna believes if you strengthen your feet, make them more flexible, create greater range of motion and better alignment this will improve the same conditions through your whole body and provide the solutions to some previously unsolved problems."
As we progress you will notice quickly how much longer the legs feel, how much taller you become and how you can align and balance the body better. As well as identifying key focus points where there is pain or discomfort and learn ways in which you can create your own healing routine.
